The Green Bay Packers are looking to continue developing their defense in the offseason.

Is Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Pernell McPhee the answer?

More from Green Bay Packers Free Agency

McPhee was drafted by the Ravens in the fifth-round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Despite being a solid contributor, he’s only started six games of the 60 he’s played in.

Last year, he only participated in 47.7 percent of the Ravens’ defensive snaps, according to Football Outsiders.

He finished 2014 with 16 appearances for the Ravens without starting a single game. He registered 27 combined tackles and a career-high 7.5 sacks. That’s impressive considering the fact that he struggled to get on the field.

The Packers biggest need may be at inside linebacker, but could adding another talented edge rusher be a good move?
