Another wide receiver to develop in the Packers’ system?

Oh, why not?

In the sixth round, general manager Ted Thompson will be able to find a future prospect to add to a dangerous receiver corps. You can never have too many talented players, and Davis could develop into a solid role-player for the Packers.

Davis lacks speed, and that is what could drop him down to the later rounds. He makes up for it with exceptional route running – this would be an important asset for him in the Packers’ offense. The more routes he can run successfully, the more opportunities he could find himself with in Green Bay.

He has good hands and quick feet. Davis is at his best outside, but he could also become a red-zone threat for the Packers with his 6-1, 196-pound frame and catching ability.

If Davis is available late on, he could be worth the selection.
