1. Benardrick McKinney, Mississippi State

McKinney is a monster between the tackles and utilizes his large 6-foot-4, 245-pound frame to gain leverage and hold his ground against offensive linemen.

McKinney is an outstanding run defender and is perhaps the best linebacker in this class at taking on blocks and holding his ground at the point of attack.

This is a highly underrated part of this game and an element that would bring a lot to the Packers defense.

McKinney also has decent speed (4.66) and athleticism, which helps him running sideline-to-sideline and chasing ball carriers down. He also shows promise in coverage, but could still improve in this area.

The Packers may have a chance at drafting the former Mississippi State product at the end of the first round.

McKinney’s ability to also play outside linebacker and rush the passer would add another dimension to their defense and allow Dom Capers to get creative with his play calling.
