Green Bay Packers: Randall Cobb, Davante Adams and more …

Packers.com’s Mike Spofford writes about Randall Cobb‘s career year and new contract.

Randall says “I look forward to this receiving corps. We’ve got a great offense, a lot of weapons. It’s going to be hard to top what I did last year.”

The Packers receiving corps has to be the best in the NFL with Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, Jared Abbrederis, Jeff Janis and Ty Montgomery.

Likely one of the UDFAs will stick with the team. For his part, he plans to help bring the young receivers along the same way Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver and James Jones did for him.

On his contact, Cobb acknowledged, his pursuit of the new contract was negatively affecting his game. This year, “That pressure is released,” he said. “I don’t have to worry about those things. I can focus on continuing to work on my craft.”

Randall promises “to come here every day and prove myself. I have to continue to get better and continue to be a helping hand for these younger guys.”

Fans have high expectations for the 2015 Green Bay Packers. It is going to be a great year.
