The tight ends: An important night
It looks like Richard Rodgers is going to be the Packers starter this season, unless something unforeseen occurs with him.
That said, we want to see if Andrew Quarless – who has had a terrible couple of months in his personal life – comes around to play the football we’ve all come to expect from Packers tight ends.

Though Quarless has been less-than-explosive over the course of the past season since signing a two-year extension, it looks like he might be facing a suspension and might find himself really fighting for a job.
It’s his time to shine this preseason if he expects to be on the roster come September – and it all starts tonight for him.
And it won’t be easy.
Quarless is not only facing the competition from Rodgers, but there are guys deep on the depth chart who will be fighting for recognition.
Those guys to watch tonight include Justin Perillo, Mitchell Henry, and Harold Spears. Henry, who has shined in camp, has a broken bone in his hand and will be wearing a club, so don’t expect him to be catching passes, but we can also watch Spears, who has had his own level of success.
