While Damarious Randall is still ahead of Rollins on the depth chart, it is a close race.

Rollins has shown that his previous basketball skills are actually paying dividends for the Packers in the secondary. He has gotten his hands and body in front of receivers with ease – a jump ball player who has the speed and intuition to match top receivers.

He made a few outstanding plays against the Patriots and has followed it up with consistent training camp practice showings.

He’s really made the most of his preseason opportunities and – with Damarious Randall – can be true hybrid corner/safety stud for years to come.
