The Packers running attack hasn’t been overpowering but they are ranked 9th in the NFL averaging 127.7 yards per game and 4.2 yards per run.
This running attack gives the Packers balance. This week Aaron threw 35 passes and the Pack also ran the ball 32 times for 123 yards.
The running attack slows down the opponents pass rush, eats time off the clock and gives the defense a breather.
Eddie Lacy has been nicked up, has shown flashes of brilliance and the ability to run people over.
This week Eddie had 10 carries for 46 yards. James Starks chipped in 32 yards. Rookie Alonzo Harris, Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb added 17, 16 and 12 yards respectively.
These are all ingredients to a winning formula. So far, so good as the Packers stay undefeated in the 2015 NFL season.
