A game known more for historic reasons than the actual outcome of it, a young Colin Kaepernick rushed for a quarterback record of 181 yards that to this day has yet to be broken.
Kaepernick also rushed for two touchdowns and threw for two more.
It was one of the more embarrassing losses for Green Bay in this series. The defense was decimated, most called for the head of defensive coordinator Dom Capers and the Packers began making wholesale changes that would transform its team in the coming years.
