Green Bay Packers: Reactions to win over the San Diego Chargers

Momentum changes
The Chargers get the ball back and start another long time consuming drive. This one was 12 plays, 72 yards and ate 6:05 from the clock and included four first downs.
Rivers used short passes to keep the Packers off balance as they marched right down the field. They got into the Red Zone again and got as close as the 12 yard line when on 4th and 3, the Chargers go for it and a short pass to Antonio Gates falls harmlessly to the ground. Packers take over on downs.
The Packers get the ball back and seemingly in total control of the game. They march right down the field on a 10 play, 83 yard drive that consumes nearly 4 minutes of clock. The Packers have 1st and goal from the SD6 but come up short having to settle for a Mason Crosby field goal. GB 17 SD 3.

A touchdown here and we may have broken the Chargers confidence. But they held and got the ball back.
The next Chargers drive started on their 14 yard line. Two plays later and Melvin Gordon fumbled giving the Packers the ball right back at the SD34. Excellent field position. Time to put this game away.
This drive was the first of three consecutive 3 and outs for the Packers ended with the first of three sacks the Chargers had on Aaron Rodgers. The Packers were forced to punt.
The Chargers got the ball back with 4:47 remaining in the half down 17-3 on their own 12 yard line. Then with uncanny precision, Phillip Rivers marched his team down the field with short passes. The Packers pass rush could not get home.
The Chargers got into the Red Zone once more. On a 3rd and goal from the 10 yard line, River hits Keenan Allen who appeared to break the goal line but Ha Ha Clinton-Dix knocked him backwards and the officials called him short. The play was reviewed the ruling on the field stood.
This brought up one of the many plays of the game. 4th and goal from the one-foot line. Chargers decide to go for it. This time they are successful. GB 17 – SD 10. Chargers are back in the game. Another long, 12 play, 88 yard drive that consumed the remaining 4:47 of the half. Halftime.
