While Rodgers was remarked as the best quarterback in the NFL in 2011 and 2014, he was also proclaimed the most valuable player by being named the NFL MVP in both seasons. His remarkable 2011 season will be remembered as one of the greatest in NFL history, while his 2014 season saw Rodgers lead his team through all obstacles. He was incredibly efficient in both seasons.
Winning the MVP award twice puts him among the likes of Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Favre, and Joe Montana, as other NFL quarterbacks to win the award twice.
Although both the 2011 and 2014 seasons will be looked at as incomplete to Rodgers without the Vince Lombardi trophy, his play was remarkable and gives the basis as to why spectators have observed him to be one of the greatest players in the game today.
