Draft Pick: 4th Round (129th Overall)
School: Michigan
Position: MLB

Coming into this season, I did not see Jake Ryan as somebody ready for immediate NFL action. What I saw was somebody who has a tremendous amount of potential though, especially in coverage situations.

With Sam Barrington going down with a season-ending injury after the season opener against the Chicago Bears, Nate Palmer has stepped into the starting role at inside linebacker alongside Clay Matthews.

Though I believe Jake Ryan could be a very good NFL player, he is not quite there yet. He has only appeared in four games so far this season, and has not registered a single tackle. He has also been dealing with injury issues as well.

With the realization that he was a fourth round pick just this year, I see a project which has the potential to work out very well for the Packers.
