Denver’s formidable defense

Aaron Rodgers said it best: “There’s no weak spot; I mean, it’s a great defense from the front line to the back.”

The Denver defense is so good because they have so many good players. The leading sack master is DeMarcus Ware who is tied for #14 in the NFL. Von Miller, Shaq Barrett and Shane Ray also bring it from the outside and Malik Jackson is bringing push from the inside. Impressive pass rush makes the defensive backfield better.

The Broncos lead the NFL in total defense, giving up only 281.3 yards per game. They also lead with 26 sacks, have 9 INTs, 8 fumble recoveries and 4 defensive TDs. They only give up 17 points per game (second only to the Green Bay Packers).

A fierce pass rush will put a lot of pressure on the Packers offensive line and Aaron Rodgers to get rid of the ball quickly. You can bet Mike McCarthy and Tom Clements has drilled that into Aaron this week.
