The rest of the game belonged to Green Bay.
[Another funny note: after an incomplete pass intended for Rodgers, I wrote “too many negative head shakes”].
The following play was 3rd +6 as Aaron found James Jones getting open on the left sideline after making a double move on CB Andrew Sendejo. Rodgers scrambles to his left and just lobbed the ball into the outstretched arms of Jones who somehow was able to control the juggled catch for an amazing 37 yard gain. Did I say amazing? That was a truly amazing throw and catch. Woot!
Then three plays later, Rodgers scrambles to his right and finds Jones laying out in the end zone, somehow keeping both feet inbounds, concentrating to ensure he catches the ball. Now that was amazing! Truly amazing. Then on the two-point conversion, Rodgers scrambles to his left, draws the defenders toward him and just flips the ball to a wide open Jones. Packers lead 27 -13. That was amazing!
