Packers get the ball back with good starting field position on the DAL49.
The best play the Packers have going is the screen or outlet pass to their running backs. This drive starts with a 9 yard screen on the right which was followed immediately by two Starks runs for 12 more yards. Rodgers had a huge 3rd + 10 pass to James Jones on the right for 13 yards to keep the drive alive. Then on 3rd + 4 from the DAL 13, Rodgers fakes handoff to Cobbs which seems to draw pass rush and hits Starks out of the backfield for a 13 yard touchdown. Packers 7 – Cowboys 0.
Packers defense holds and Packers get ball back at the GB19 but Sam Shields is injured and out for the rest of the game. Mike McCarthy challenges a completion to Dez Bryant and wins forcing the punt.
