Packers get the ball back with 11:18 left in the game on their own 16 yard line and go on a long 6:34 minute drive where they ran the ball down the throat of the Cowboys. This was the drive that won the game.
Rodgers dumped the ball off to Starks for 5 yards. On 2nd down, Starks ran left for 3 yards. Brings up a manageable 3rd + 2. Starks runs right for 11 yards +++ a 1st down. Then Starks runs again on right for 8 yards. Then Eddie Lacy comes in and runs for 8 more yards.
Faced with a 3rd + 9, Aaron cannot find anyone open but is able to scramble right for 11 yards and a much needed 1st down. Rodgers hits Cobb on a flanker screen for 11 yards. Lacy runs left for 11 more yards. Eddie Lacy is stuffed for a five yard loss and yet another penalty forces a 2nd + 25 situation from the DAL30. A delayed handoff to Starks allows him to split the seam and score the 30 yard touchdown run. It was a beautiful run and the drive of the game. Packer fans are heard echoing Wayne Larivee with “and there is your DAGGER.” Packers 21 – Dallas 7.
