When going back and looking through the rich history of the Green Bay Packers, you are drawn to memories of names and faces of the greatest all-time defensive players in franchise history.

The Packers have had their fair share of famous defensive greats, stemming back to their inaugural 1919 season.

Looking back through the entire history of the Green Bay Packers, we have decided to rank our top 10 defensive players of all-time.

From the Lambeau era to the present day McCarthy era, the Packers have had a huge list of defensive superstars throughout their history. When developing our list, the combination of a player’s skill was intertwined with their ability to bring success to the franchise.

When talking about an all-time player for a franchise, both accounts need to be taken into consideration, which we did to the best of our ability.

With different eras presenting various opportunities for specific individuals, it was difficult to go through and look at what defined a specific player.

With a history so rich and deep, it is remarkable to go back and look at the tremendous talent that the Green Bay Packers’ organization has provided, making this a tough list to narrow down.

Like all of our lists, it is fully speculative and we encourage any participation in the comment section below.
