K – Mason Crosby

Last Week: 3/4 FG (21, 24, 33 Made; 49 Missed), 3/3 PATs; 12.00 fantasy points

Crosby has been pretty hot-&-cold in terms of fantasy impact this whole year.

There isn’t much he can do to change that however; the offense has somehow managed to simultaneously struggle for a lot of the year while also scoring touchdowns decently often — something that affects how many chances Crosby can get.

Because of those mitigating factors, Crosby has had only three double-digit fantasy games this season.

This past week was one of those instances, with him having three made field goals on four attempts. As expected, he made all his extra points as well (still hasn’t missed one yet). Basically, as long as he gets kick opportunities, he is likely to make them all; the only reason he wasn’t 4/4 was a blocked kick, which I tend to attribute more to the blocking than the kicker nine times out of ten.

This week however, I’m not seeing the chances coming his way. They could, especially if the Cardinals defense holds up in the red-zone to stall Green Bay drives, but based on the fact that he hasn’t gotten many chances in most games this year I don’t think it would be smart to rely on Crosby to help bring you to fantasy glory.

Week 16 Prediction: 1/1 FG (1 40-49), 3 PATs; 7.00 fantasy Points
Verdict: Reliable Kicker, Unreliable Opportunities
