Selection: 6th Round (206th Overall)
Player/Pick Evaluation: C

Aaron Ripkowski was able to land a spot on the Packers’ roster after training camp and through the regular season as a backup to John Kuhn and special teams player. Although Ripkowski’s potential is a bit of an unknown at this point, it seemed odd to me that the Packers elected to go with two full backs this season, given the lack of depth on the offensive line.

What the Packers choose to do at the fullback position will be a highly touted story through training camp next season, as we may see the Packers move onto Ripkowski while cutting Kuhn.

Christian Ringo

Selection:

6th Round (210th Overall)

Player/Pick Evaluation:

Incomplete

Ringo spent the season on the Packers practice squad, not giving us much for an evaluation.

Kennard Backman

Selection: 6th Round (213th Overall)
Player/Pick Evaluation:  Incomplete

Dressing for only seven games this season, we also were not able to get a full evaluation on Backman. With Andrew Quarless a free agent, the tight end position could endure a shake up this off-season making the position interesting entering training camp next season.
