The Lions lost a true playmaker in the middle of their defense when Suh left in free agency, and already in his 30s, Haolit Ngata is only a short-term fix. Despite some of off-field concerns, Nkemdiche is an explosive three-technique defensive tackle that would give Detroit an interior pass rusher to line up alongside ascending star Ziggy Ansah.
