Dan: Despite the ACL injury, Smith is well worth a top-ten pick, in my opinion. He’s a truly special talent at linebacker–the likes we haven’t seen in several years–and would do a lot to majorly upgrade the second level of the Dolphins defense. He would give them the playmaker in the middle of their defense they haven’t had in some time. If a team is willing to be patient, picking Smith could really pay off in the long run.
