Looking ahead into the 2016 season, which teams pose the toughest challenge for the Green Bay Packers?

Before focusing on the Super Bowl, the Green Bay Packers first must aim to reach the playoffs, and with the highest seed possible. The Packers’ 10-6 record in 2015 was good for only a wild-card spot, which sent them on the road through the playoffs.

The past three NFC representatives in the Super Bowl were the No. 1 seed (Panthers, Seahawks twice). You have to go back to 2011 for the last time an NFC team without a first-round bye went onto the Super Bowl.

That’s not to say sitting out for the first week of the playoffs and securing home field advantage guarantees a Super Bowl berth – far from it. Packers fans know this from personal experience in 2011. But there’s no denying playing at Lambeau Field throughout the postseason gives the Packers a better shot at going all the way.

According to Blogging the Boys, the Packers have the easiest strength of schedule in 2016. Make of that what you will, but the schedule on paper at least looks more comfortable than the one they faced in 2015.
