Who could the Green Bay Packers take in each round of the 2016 NFL Draft?

There are multiple areas the Green Bay Packers must improve this offseason. From inside linebacker to wide receiver, upgrades at multiple positions are necessary for the Packers to return to the Super Bowl in what will be a six-year wait.

Mock draft season is well underway and draft boards are beginning to take shape. We’ll know more about the prospects when the NFL Scouting Combine wraps up, but for now we can simply go on the tape and early projections for each player.

Packers GM Ted Thompson hit a home run with his 2015 draft class. Selecting cornerbacks Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins took many by surprise initially, but both look set for great futures. Wide receiver Ty Montgomery showcased a lot of potential before getting his rookie season cut short by a high ankle sprain.

Can Thompson do it again in 2016? Another home run draft could give the Packers the boost required to make a deep playoff run. Let’s look ahead to April’s draft and predict who Green Bay might take with each pick.
