RB Bilal Powell, New York Jets

James Starks’ future is uncertain in Green Bay, and the 30-year-old might have played his final snap for the Packers. If this happens, there will be a vacancy at the No. 2 spot behind Eddie Lacy.

The Packers’ offense could benefit with the addition of a speedy running back who can dominate in the passing game. Bilal Powell injected life into the Jets’ offense last season and did a lot of his damage in the air. Powell didn’t feature much until the second half of the season, but in that time he piled up more receiving yards (388) than rushing yards (313).

With a chance to complement Lacy in the backfield, Powell could have his best season yet. Once in the open field, he’s incredibly tough to bring down.

For a running back, Powell is still fresh. He’s just 27-years-old and has carried the football only 402 times in five years. He wouldn’t be asked to be a workhorse back in Green Bay, but Powell could offer a perfect change-of-pace to go along with the thumping style of Lacy.

Whether Powell hits free agency is another question, but he would be a great addition to the Packers’ offense.
