TE Bryce Williams, East Carolina

In what is considered to be a weak tight end class, there are a few names the Packers could consider on day three. Bryce Williams out of East Carolina is another one of them.

Williams has good at 6-foot-6, 257 pounds, and would give the Packers a big target who could immediately contribute in the passing game. Like the other tight ends on this list, his speed and athleticism would make him a threat downfield as a possible ‘move’ tight end. The Packers desperately need a tight end who can do this. He has good hands and can make tough catches in traffic, another important trait for a pass-catching tight end.

Williams would give the Packers plenty of options in the passing game. His size makes him tough to defend in the red zone, particularly when paired up with smaller defensive backs. His route-running needs some polish, as does his blocking. But for a mid-round option, Green Bay would get a big target capable of causing mismatches down the field.

There will be some names for the Packers to consider at tight end on day three, but Williams is definitely one to look out for.
