All-Time Green Bay Packers draft busts: Defense
LB Abdul Hodge
3rd Rd. (67) 2006
Fresh off a senior season that saw him lead the Big Ten in tackles per game (13.2), Hodge looked to possess all the attributes of a complete linebacker.
And to his credit, he seemed to be well on his way to delivering in his rookie year, particularly on special teams. Shoulder and knee injuries, however, doomed the former Iowa Hawkeye’s development.
He was gone after two years and never truly returned to being the same player in his two stints with the Bengals and Panthers.
