LB Torrance Marshall

3rd Rd. (72) 2001

Ron Wolf should have instantly omitted this Boomer Sooner’s name from his draft board once reports began circulating about Marshall scoring an 8 on the Wonderlic.

As it turned out, the Miami native often appeared to be playing blindfolded based on his confused style of play in terms of where to line up and where to go.

The Packers quickly moved on from their plans of making Marshall their starting middle linebacker by drafting Nick Barnett in the first round two years later.

Oklahoma’s 2001 Orange Bowl MVP saw some snaps at fullback and contributed on special teams, but was utterly useless on defense.
