DT Andrew Billings, Baylor

Why it makes sense: Andrew Billings could dominate at nose tackle in the NFL. Stopping the run starts up front, and the Baylor product has plenty to offer in that department. A combination of elite run-stuffing ability as some excellent interior pass rush make him an exciting prospect.

The thought of Billings lining up next to Mike Daniels would be a mouth-watering prospect for Dom Capers.

Why it doesn’t make sense: There have been some question marks over Billings’ effort at times. In some games he is unblockable, but why doesn’t this happen every week? Some analysts believe he isn’t always giving 100 percent effort and can go missing when he’s not dominating.

Verdict: Billings is one of the most exciting prospects at nose tackle. There are definitely concerns with his attitude, but he’s a young man and has the potential to become an elite nose tackle at the next level. Billings would offer an immediate upgrade at a position of need and help the Packers win in the trenches.

Stopping the run starts up front, and Billings can be the guy to pair with Daniels. In Green Bay, Billings could find a home at the heart of the defensive line.
