Picks #65-75: Perkins is a special player and has Lesean McCoy-type skillset and ability in space. He’d be another weapon in Dallas’s backfield to go along with power runner Alfred Morris.
Sean Davis and Beniquez Brown remain some of the more underrated defensive prospects in this class. They’re both tremendous athletes who made a ton of plays for their teams in college. Expect to hear more about them as the draft nears.
The third round is a bit high for Cardale Jones, but a team desperate enough for a developmental quarterback, like San Francisco, will take a shot on Jones, hoping that they can turn his raw ability into something special in a few years.
