Austin Hooper

Tight End, Stanford

Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers

Hooper’s match in Green Bay may be too good to be true. He’s one of the few tight end prospects who can legitimately stretch the middle of the field, while also showing a consistency as a receiver to catch the ball and be a reliable target for his quarterback. Hooper still needs to make gains as a run blocker, but this part of his game can develop once he’s in the NFL and coaches can work with him every day. — Dan

Kyle’s alternate pick: Joshua Perry, LB, Ohio State – If Green Bay passes on linebacker in the first round, Perry makes a lot of sense in the second. He is known as a high character athlete and a team-first kind of guy. Some have said that he is not that far behind Ragland as a prospect, so getting him a round later might be a good option.
