This is the second of a seven-part series. We continue the Lombardi Ave Packers mock draft with the writers’ second-round selections.

You can check out our first-round projections here.

We move onto the second round of our Lombardi Ave seven-round mock draft. There was a run of defensive talent selected for the Green Bay Packers on day one. Who will our writers take next?

Defensive tackle was the popular position early on. Andrew Billings, Kenny Clark, Vernon Butler and Austin Johnson were among the names to help the defensive line. Inside linebacker Reggie Ragland was selected, as was pass rusher Noah Spence. Interestingly, all six picks were different. Will that trend continue?

Despite a disappointing season on offense for the Packers, it was all about defense in our first round. Will we finally see some offensive talent taken off the board in the second round? How about some help to the offensive line or a tight end who can stretch the field? Could general manager Ted Thompson go best player available and grab a wide receiver? Anything is fair game with Thompson.

It’s day two in Chicago and the Packers have a couple of decisions to make. Let’s see who the Lombardi Ave staff are projecting to Green Bay in the second round.
