Round 6 (200): CB D.J. White, Georgia Tech

The Packers are loaded in the secondary with plenty of young talent. At cornerback, the exciting trio of Sam Shields, Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins has the potential to become one of the best in the league. With Micah Hyde and Ladarius Gunter, the secondary has good depth.

But it wouldn’t be a bad idea to add another body to the mix on day three of the draft. Casey Hayward was a reliable slot corner and his departure in free agency will have an impact.

D.J. White of Georgia Tech might be forced to play at nickel due to his size. At 5-foot-11, 193 pounds, he’s not small, but would likely be better suited in the slot. While his size might limit his role in the NFL, Rob Rang believes there’s a lot to like about his game.

"“Lacks elite size but has good length and terrific overall athleticism. Experienced playing in press, off-man and zone coverage showing great quickness, fluidity and awareness. Has light feet, good balance and the fluid hips to change directions easily, showing off the natural coverage skills scouts covet.”"

If he’s there when the Packers hit the clock in the sixth round, White would be a smart choice.
