This is the fourth of a seven-part series. We continue the Lombardi Ave Packers mock draft with the writers’ fourth-round selections.

You can find the previous selections here: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3.

Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson is unpredictable. Last year, inside linebacker was considered to be the team’s biggest need entering the draft along with cornerback. Yet Thompson waited until the fourth round to address the position, and had picked a wide receiver a round earlier.

We continue our Lombardi Ave mock draft in the fourth round, where the Packers will pick three times. Outside of their original fourth-round selection, Green Bay received two compensatory picks for the loss of cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House a year ago in free agency. These bonus selections are a crucial part of Thompson’s strong draft-and-develop philosophy.

Last year, the Packers used their fourth-round selection on Jake Ryan, who was a solid contributor at inside linebacker as a rookie. He’ll be expected to play a part in the unit’s rise over the coming seasons. Will inside linebacker be addressed in the same round of this mock?

Let’s begin the fourth round of our mock. Who will the Lombardi Ave writers select for Green Bay?
