Packers 2016 Draft: Roundtable mock draft fourth round
Freddie Boston
Previous picks: DE Noah Spence, DT Austin Johnson, ILB Kentrell Brothers
TE Nick Vannett, Ohio State
Despite signing Jared Cook in free agency, the Packers need a long-term option at tight end. Nick Vannett might be the most rounded tight end in the class. He can block and was asked to do this a lot at Ohio State, but when used as a receiver he showed enough potential.
Vannett would give Aaron Rodgers a big target down the field with safe hands and an ability to catch the football in traffic. He wouldn’t need to do too much as a rookie, but in the future could be one of Rodgers’ favorite targets.
OT Alex Lewis, Nebraska
At some point the Packers will need to add some depth along the offensive line. Injuries to David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga exposed the poor depth outside of JC Tretter. Keeping No. 12 upright and healthy is crucial.

OG Landon Turner, North Carolina
Landon Turner is an excellent run blocker with starting potential. Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang are free agents at the end of the season, and the Packers need to be prepared to replace one of them. With a year to develop, Turner can be the man.
