DT Javon Hargrave, South Carolina State

Javon Hargrave has grabbed some attention in the past couple of months and his draft stock is certainly rising, but he still seems somewhat undervalued.

Due to his size — 6-foot-1, 309 pounds — teams will have their concerns with Hargrave. But similar worries dropped Mike Daniels all the way down to the fourth round with the Green Bay Packers landing one of the steals of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Hargrave is a raw talent, but there’s enough to get excited about. He dominated his level of competition at South Carolina State and then put together a good week at the East-West Shrine Game. Dane Brugler of CBSSports.com likes his potential:

"“Powerful big men who can move – that’s what the NFL is looking for in defensive line prospects and that’s what Hargrave offers. He can anchor to hold his ground vs. the run and generate an interior pass rush due to his snap anticipation and ability to convert quickness to power.”"

This is a deep class of defensive linemen and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Packers address the position on day one or two. But in the middle rounds, they could add another piece to the defensive line with Hargrave.
