30. Brandon Jackson (Ray’s pick)
Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft, Brandon Jackson brought speed and quickness to Packers News.
Jackson, who came to Green Bay just after longtime running back Ahman Green left in free agency to sign with the Houston Texans and was meant to bring the same type of play to Packers News.
As a player who was seen as one who could not only run between the tackles, Jackson was also seen as a complete back who could catch the ball out of the backfield and was shifty enough to make tacklers miss in space.
He joined a team that had Ryan Grant as its starter. The full list of running backs on the team included this lineup.

However, it took Jackson some time to see a lot of action for Green Bay while playing behind the likes of Grant and Morency. In fact, it wasn’t until the 2010 season – four years after being selected in the draft – that Jackson made a mark in Green Bay.
In that Super Bowl-winning season, Jackson ran the ball 190 times for 703 yards, scoring three touchdowns. However, it was his pass-catching abilities that helped him get on the field and contribute. He caught 43 balls for 342 yards and a touchdown.
In all, he contributed 1,043 yards from scrimmage for the Packers that season.
However, that was to be his final year in Green Bay as Thompson let him walk in free agency.
Jackson would eventually sign with the Cleveland Browns and play two uneventful seasons for the Browns before he was released.
In fact, he was injured in 2011 and didn’t play a single game. He came back in 2012, but only carried the ball 8 times for 54 yards.
