After months of speculation, we learned which defensive lineman Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson liked the most. Spoilt for choice, Thompson opted for UCLA defensive tackle Kenny Clark. But who will be joining Clark at rookie minicamp in a couple of weeks?
We enter day two. Barring any trades, the Packers will have one selection in the second round (No. 57 overall) and one in the third (No. 88 overall). Which players could they go after in these rounds?
Will defense still be the focus? Inside linebacker is a need, and more pass rush would also be nice. Maybe an offensive tackle is the plan or a tight end. Who knows, maybe the Packers double down on defensive linemen due to the deep pool of talent available in the class. I for one wouldn’t be against it.
