Have the receivers made any progress?

Jordy Nelson and Ty Montgomery aside, who are both returning to 100 percent from significant injuries, the wide receivers will be heavily under the microscope. Of the remaining bunch, Randall Cobb is the only one whose spot on the roster is safe.

There are a number of young pass catchers with an awful lot to prove this offseason. Jeff Janis has all of the physical tools you could wish for, but his poor route-running and ability to get on the same page as Aaron Rodgers hurt him last season. There needs to be a sign of development in this department.

Jared Abbrederis needs to prove he can stay healthy while building on the trust he began to form with Rodgers. Trevor Davis is a rookie who needs to show he is more than just a return man with blazing speed. Can he run good routes and learn the playbook fast?

Davante Adams was a major disappointment in 2015, dropping everything in site and lacking the timing and chemistry with Rodgers the likes of Nelson and James Jones have made look routine in years past. Adams has to show he’s fully healthy and on track to bounce back from a disappointing year.

The battle for roster spots at the position begins now.
