The Packers are only 3-4 versus the G-Men over the past nine seasons including the playoffs. For one reason or other, it seems that the Giants always seem to catch Green Bay at its most vulnerable moments.

A Week 5 victory will require a herculean effort to forbid Beckham from taking over the ball game. The man with the golden Mohawk is a time bomb waiting to detonate when you factor in his 24 touchdowns in only 26 career games.

Five of those scores last year alone were of the 50-yard-plus variety.

There isn’t much any cornerback can do when a tightly-covered OBJ fearlessly goes airborne by launching his entire body in pursuit of the football and comes down with an out-of-this-world one-handed grab.

It’s been proven that the one way to knock Beckham off his game is by getting under his skin and constantly taunting him throughout the game.

One would think, however, that the 23-year-old has had enough time to reflect on the endless criticism he received in the aftermath of his violent trash-talking skirmish with Josh Norman last season.

Green Bay’s early-season meeting with New York has all the makings of a high-scoring shootout.

Keeping the ball out of Beckham’s mitts may not be realistic. This could very well be the type of battle where Green Bay’s offense will have to outscore the other team in one of those wild aerial shows in which that last one with the ball wins the game.
