10. “Ziggy” Ansah

Ansah’s 2015 highlight package could easily rival that of most offensive skill-position players. His explosiveness off the snap and much-improved hand-technique saw him routinely penetrate the opposing backfield and bring down the most nimble of signal callers, including Aaron Rodgers, Alex Smith and Russell Wilson.

In his three years in the pros, the Ghana native has worked hard at improving his ability to create takeaways, as evidenced by his four forced turnovers last season. He will not only look to strip the ball from the clutches of quarterbacks, but he’s been known to pursue helpless running backs and devastate them with blind-side hits that have occasionally resulted in fumbles.

Unlike several other defenders, Ansah consistently brings his best to the table. His 14.5 sacks, case in point, were accumulated over 11 games. So if you’re hoping to catch the 27-year-old on one of those off-weeks where he’ll show up out of gas, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Chances are it will take more than one blocker to keep Detroit’s one-man-wrecking-crew under wraps. Green Bay’s running backs and tight ends will be called on early and often to chip in.
