Disclaimer: For any fantasy scoring numbers, I will be using those generated by Yahoo! fantasy football. It is the system on which I’ve played a majority of my fantasy football over the years – and currently play. Other setups are fine – I’ve worked with ESPN and NFL fantasy football teams in the past – but seeing as I have the most experience using this scoring system, I’ll stick with using their methods of scoring.

Week 1 was an exciting way to start our season, Green Bay Packers fans.

We got to see the offense show that it definitely has much more latent potential than the 2015 version of this team, and if some of the inconsistencies are cleaned up we could see them step right back into the vicinity of the 2014 team that led the league in scoring — if not surpass it entirely.

It wasn’t all sunshine and roses though, because while the potential showed, drives stalled out too often, eventually forcing the defense to have to step up numerous times before finally sealing off the Jaguars on a failed 4th down attempt.

In terms of the fantasy realm, we got to see pretty much what the real game provided; a relative mixed bag across the roster, with a certain player leading the way as always.

Let’s begin with him.
