Packers get Seahawks, Vikings at Lambeau

Green Bay’s schedule is hardly easy, but the Lambeau factor could make a difference. Arguably the Packers’ two toughest remaining opponents—Seattle and Minnesota—will make the trip to Lambeau Field.

Visiting Soldier Field and the Bears’ third-string quarterback Matt Barkley should scare nobody. A Week 17 date at Ford Field has the schedule makers licking their chops for what could be the Packers’ fourth straight NFC North decider to finish the season. Beating the Lions on the road won’t be easy, but it’s one the Packers have to win.

Playing in Seattle is an entirely different prospect to meeting them at home. Since 2013, the Seahawks are 29-5 in Seattle (including playoffs), 19-12-1 on the road.

Aaron Rodgers hasn’t lost at Lambeau Field in the month of December since 2008. Yeah, the Packers know how to win when the snow starts to fall.

For Rodgers to guide the Packers to the playoffs, they must do it the hard way. But playing two of their toughest remaining opponents inside the Frozen Tundra helps matters. A Rodgers-led Packers know how to turn up the heat when the weather gets cold.
