Packers free agency 2017: Top players still available at positions of need
Defensive tackles
Bolstering the defensive line isn’t the Packers’ top priority in free agency, but given Letroy Guion’s four-game suspension, finding another body would make sense. As ever, it comes down to the price.
Dontari Poe: Poe is far and away the best defensive tackle on the market. Some believed he’d be the most overpaid player in free agency, which maybe a little harsh despite a disappointing 2016 season, but the longer he remains available, the lower his price will fall.
The 26-year-old dealt with injuries last year but is a two-time Pro Bowler. An easy upgrade for the Packers’ line.
Johnathan Hankins: At just 24-years-old, the former Giant has flashed plenty of potential. He just needs to stay healthy.
Bennie Logan: Another player whose market has fallen after a down year in 2016. If he is cheap enough, Logan could come in alongside Mike Daniels and help shut down the run.
