Quarterbacks

Starter: Aaron Rodgers

Backup: Brett Hundley

Reserve: Joe Callahan

It’s as we were in the quarterback room. Aaron Rodgers leads the way, and Brett Hundley will serve as his primary backup.

Joe Callahan remains the third-string option at this point. Thankfully neither of the two backups were called upon for a major role in 2016, and the hope is that trend continues into 2017.

As long as Rodgers is healthy, the quarterback position is in great shape. We haven’t seen much of Hundley. He impressed during his first preseason, but got hurt last year which limited his opportunities to showcase his talent.

Verdict: The Packers may look to add another quarterback on day three of the draft. If Hundley is to be traded in the future, selecting his replacement might be necessary. We saw this a couple of years ago when the Packers drafted Hundley to eventually replace Scott Tolzien as the backup, which he did a year later.
