Tackles

Left tackle: David Bakhtiari

Right tackle: Bryan Bulaga

Reserves: Jason Spriggs, Kyle Murphy

David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga were hit by injuries in 2015, which exposed a concerning lack of depth at the tackle spots. The Packers responded by selecting Jason Spriggs and Kyle Murphy in last year’s draft, and Bakhtiari and Bulaga would go on to stay healthy for the majority of the 2016 season.

Not only did they avoid major injury, but the tackles were outstanding. Bakhtiari earned Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors.

What impressed most about the pair was their ability to play on an island without much help. Both Bakhtiari and Bulaga were major reasons why Aaron Rodgers had seemingly forever to work inside the pocket.

Verdict: The Packers are set at the tackle spots, as along as there’s no major injuries. Spriggs’ and Murphy’s development is important. Adding more talent along the offensive line is never a bad thing, so don’t be surprised if another big guy is added.
