Our Breakdown

Each writer had Mike Williams ranked as either their 1st or 2nd receiver in the class, and while three writers ranked Corey Davis as the top player at the position, one writer had Davis 6th, which hurt his overall score.

John Ross and Zay Jones were consistently in the top-five in each writer’s individual rankings, while Carlos Henderson ranked 4th on two draft boards, 7th on another, and was unranked for a fourth. Chris Godwin and JuJu Smith-Schuster were mentioned in each writer’s top-10 ranking and three of the four individual rankings had Curtis Samuel and Josh Reynolds, showing more consistency with projecting the position.

On the contrary, there were various opinions on prospects Cooper Kupp, Taywan Taylor, and Ardarius Stewart. Kupp lands as our 7th-ranked receiver in our final rankings, despite two writers not even including him in their individual top-10. One writer thought highly enough of Kupp to rank him 3rd at the position, while another writer had him placed 6th.

The group was also split on Taylor and Stewart. Each player only showed up in two of the writers’ receiver rankings, and they didn’t accrue enough points to make our final top-10. Chad Hansen also narrowly missed our final position rankings.
