Round 5: Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs

Best player available: Andy Janovich, FB, Broncos
Best player at the same position: Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs

It’s hard to take Hill here. The Packers already took a wide receiver in the first round, there is a solid corner available in Anthony Brown as well as a nose tackle in D.J. Reader.

Still, Hill was and is one of the most exciting players to come out of the 2016 draft. His return ability alone almost makes him worth a fifth-round pick. The combo or Jordy Nelson, Michael Thomas, and Tyreek Hill is just too exciting to pass up so here we are.

Although he didn’t put up freakish numbers with the Chiefs as a receiver (61 receptions, 593 yards, six touchdowns) Hill is a jack of all trades that plays all over the field. As a returner he scored an additional three touchdowns (two punts, one kickoff) and even ran the ball 24 times for 267 yards (11.1 avg) and another three scores.
