With non-division road games at Pittsburgh, Dallas, Atlanta and Carolina, one might walk away from a quick glance at the Green Bay Packers 2017 regular season schedule with a single-word description: Brutal.

Throw in the fact that the Packers also have to play on the road at Detroit, Minnesota and Chicago and you’ve got a schedule that could be considered “challenging,” at best.

That said, the Packers do get to play at home against non-division rivals Cincinnati, Seattle, Baltimore, New Orleans and Tampa Bay, so one can at least take a breath and understand those games should help the Packers’ overall record.

If the Packers can split those non-division road games, that would go a long way in getting to 10 or 11 wins – the threshold they must reach to have a shot at the playoffs.

I’m thinking the Packers squeeze out another one of those road games and come away with a 12-4 record in 2017.

Prediction: 12-4
