Green Bay Packers: Best opponents, how they will have an impact
By Ryan Schlipp
Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson, Quarterback
Another team that’s difficult to pick just one player is Seattle.
Russell Wilson wasn’t the most dominant player in 2016, but he’s been the most consistent in his five years.
Not only do the Packers need to worry about his legs, but the addition of Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham make Wilson that much better.
The obvious silver lining is the Seahawks’ abysmal offensive line. The Packers ability to stop the run and pressure Wilson should be enough to slow the Seattle offense.
The challenge from there is to ensure the offense can run up the scoreboard, which won’t be a simple task.
If Seattle is weak on defense, it’s the defensive interior and corner. I would expect a good mix of run and pass to not only exploit the weaknesses, but to keep the safeties and edge rushers on their toes.
