The 2017 NFL Draft is only a week away, and it’s time to sneak in one more mock draft before the Green Bay Packers officially make their first pick next Thursday night.

Our team of writers at Lombardi Ave decided to get together and conduct a first-round mock draft. Seven of us participated, each rotating to make selections for various teams around the NFL.

We also all provided our input on who we’d like the Packers to select at pick 29 from the remaining players left on the board when Green Bay was on the clock.

Since Ted Thompson and company could go in so many different directions with their first selection, we thought we’d provide several varying opinions on the player that could ultimately land with the Packers in the first round.

It was interesting how the board fell and who was still available by the end of the first round. There were plenty of surprises.

Click to the next page and check out how it turned out. Also, feel free to tell us who you would have selected at pick 29 based on the players available. Let’s start the latest 2017 NFL mock draft.
