It’s this region of the board that presents the best value, in my opinion. There are a lot of really good borderline second/third-round prospects who could immediately play significant roles on a NFL roster.

This section of the board also has the second wave of cornerbacks in the draft. Sidney Jones and Fabian Moreau are first-round talents who will fall to Day 2 of the draft because of injuries they suffered at their pro days. However, if teams feel they could be back on the field in time for at least part of their rookie season then both Jones and Moreau could get serious considerations at the end of the second round.

Kevin King, Adoree Jackson, and Teez Tabor all have a lot of talent, but their games come with significant red flags. King and Jackson are elite athletes whose games are raw and need a ton of development before they see a starting lineup in the NFL. However, they have a lot of upside and could really payoff as Day 2 selections.

Tabor is a ballhawk and tough competitor, but his 4.62 forty at the combine and even slower time at his pro day really hurt his draft stock. He’s going to have to either play in a specialized role at the next level or in a zone-heavy scheme to even see the field.

This portion of the board also has several intriguing running back prospects. Jamaal Williams is a physical downhill runner, while Alvin Kamara and Marlon Mack are electric halfbacks with playmaking ability. Curtis Samuel is also versatile offensive weapon with blazing 4.31 speed and impressive receiving ability. If a team doesn’t get McCaffrey in the first round, Samuel is a nice backup option in round two.

Tyus Bowser and Vince Biegel are both athletic linebacker prospects who can play off-ball or rush the passer on the edge. Either one would be good Day 2 targets for the Packers.
